Global Advocates of Peace Flag Honors Mrs. Rachael Nkereuwem Umoefik, the Senior Legislative Leader on (Special Projects and Diaspora) to the Senate President, with Ambassador-at-Large Appointment*

In a significant step toward advancing national & global peace, unity, and humanitarian leadership, the Global Advocates of Peace Flag, under the IFP World Family Initiative, paid a distinguished courtesy visit to the Office of The Senate President National Assembly , Federal Republic Nigeria , Abuja.
The visit, led by Her Majesty Queen Hadassah Ibinyingi Allaputa, World President of the IFP World Family Initiative and Global Advocates of Peace Flag, underscored the growing partnership between global peace institutions and national governance structures in promoting sustainable peace, justice, and human development.
A major highlight of the visit was the formal presentation of the prestigious title Ambassador-at-Large, Global Advocates of Peace Flag appointment and certification to Mrs. Rachael Nkereuwem Umoefik, the Senior Legislative Aide on (Special Projects and Diaspora) to the Senate President.


This appointment reflects a strategic alignment with the powerful global message delivered by Nigeria’s Senate President, Sen.Godswill Akpabio GCON at the 152nd Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly called on global parliaments to rise as “defenders of peace, justice, and humanity,” emphasizing that no region of the world is immune to instability. He urged lawmakers across nations to move from conflict to construction, stressing that peace is not inherited but must be intentionally built, defended, and sustained. He further described legislatures as the “first hope” and the “conscience of the people,” calling for a redirection of global priorities toward peace and development especially in infrastructure, food security, and education—while reaffirming Nigeria’s commitment to parliamentary diplomacy, peace and international cooperation.
This distinguished appointment recognizes Mrs. Umoefik’s unwavering commitment to peacebuilding, humanitarian service, community leadership, and the advancement of peace, governance and inclusive development.
As Ambassador-at-Large, she is entrusted with the responsibilities of advancing the vision of “Making Peace Visible” a global call to foster measurable peace actions across families, communities, institutions and nations.
Her new role affirms her position as a custodian of peace, a voice for humanity, and a bridge between diaspora, non-governmental and governance systems across the Global
